At New Promise Fellowship of Churches, our leaders are dedicated to serving with faith, integrity, and a strong commitment to the teachings of Christ and the word of God. Each leader brings a unique set of skills and experiences, all united by a common goal: to encourage the body of believers, to walk in full submission to the word of God with expectation of God’s promises being fulfilled. They strive to inspire and guide our fellowship family in their spiritual journey and growth. Our Leaders works tirelessly to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for everyone so everyone feels valued. Presiding Bishop
Calvin Sparks, Life Pavilion Ministries, Inc
New Promise Fellow of Churches is led by our Presiding Bishop Calvin D. Sparks. Bishop Sparks was born and raised in Los Angeles, and is the eldest of four brothers but the only child of Ruthie Jones and deceased Juan Sparks.
While growing up at Greater Good News Church of God in Christ, where he was lead to christ and filled with the Holy Ghost, the gift of music was introduced. He served as their musician at a very young age. Bishop Sparks was not only gifted in music, but he loved and had a desire to study the word of God . He was a diligent and consistent student of Sunday school, Bible band ,young people willing workers Bible study, and various of other Bible studies groups. At the Young ages of 12 he preached his first message.
At the age of 26 , Bishop, Sparks was comfortable as a musician and had aspirations of touring and playing for different artists and producing albums , however God was calling him to preach. It was some resistance and fight on his part , but he realize you can’t fight against what God has called you to do and win . He answer the call from God to preach the gospel and was ordain as an Elder in Church Of God in Christ on January 21, 2018 .
While serving at Citadel of Hope Church of God in Christ, Bishop Sparks heard the call of God for him to open a ministry called Life Pavilion Ministries. On September 1, 2019 Life Pavilion ministries was born. While serving as a Pastor, he met the love of his life Crystal Sparks. They entered in holy matrimony on September 12, 2020 and out of that union their son, Calvin Sparks II was born.
During the time of him serving as pastor of Life Pavilion Ministries, the Lord later called him to the office of Bishop in the Lords Church. On August 11, 2022, Bishop Calvin Sparks was elevated and consecrated to the office of Bishop under the Leadership of Chief Apostle Timothy L. Warren, Covenant Global Consortium. He served as a State Bishop, Regional Bishop, and Board of Bishop Chair until the Lord Lead him to start New Promise Fellowship of Churches on November 18, 2024.
Bishop Sparks loves God , and his people, and is willing to serve and help leaders grow and fulfill God's promises.

Ursell Brandon, The Praise Temple Full Gospel
Bishop Ursell L. Brandon was called into the ministry in 1999 while attending Star Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland, CA. He was licensed by Dr. J. L. Hudson. After 3 years, Bishop Brandon was moved by the Lord to assist Dr. Nathaniel Foster at the Greater El Bethel Baptist Church in Richmond, CA, where he served as Youth Pastor.
Bishop Brandon attended Bay cities Seminary in Berkeley and also attended the
Progressive Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond & Sacramento, CA, and received an Associates of Arts degree in Theology and his Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies.
Bishop Brandon majored in Biblical Counseling, Biblical Studies & Theology and also received his Doctorate Degree in Divinity from the Pnueuma Theological Seminary May 12 th 2016.
Bishop Brandon planted multiple churches in the Northern California area and is currently the proud Pastor of The Praise Temple Full Gospel Church where the Lord placed in his heart a vision to not only be of service in the pulpit but to go out into the harvest where the work is plentiful.
Bishop Brandon is married to Lady Omolade Brandon and has one son, Tyquan
Brandon, and daughter Heaven Brandon.
While serving as the pastor of The Praise Temple Full Gospel Church, the Lord called him to the office of Bishop in the Lords Church. On August 08, 2024, Bishop Ursell Brandon was elevated and consecrated to the office of Bishop under the Leadership of Chief Apostle Timothy L. Warren, Covenant Global Consortium. He served as a State Bishop and Regional Bishop until the Lord Lead him to start New Promise Fellowship of Churches on November 18, 2024.
Before the public announcement of New Promise Fellowship of Churches, On January 2, 2025, Bishop Ursell Brandon transition from work to reward. We will miss him dearly, take your rest.
3rd Presider
Vershall Harkness, Anointed Beacon Light
Bishop-Elect Harkness was born to Mr. Odell Harkness and Mrs. Alice Harkness
in Los Angeles, California. She is the second eldest of four children of this this
union.
Bishop-Elect Harkness was raised partially in Centre, Alabama and South-
Central Los Angeles and has resided in the Inland Empire for twenty-nine years.
Bishop Elect Harkness was wedded to the late Jerry Adams (2007) and she bore
two sons from this union, Correyan Adams and Amawn Adams. During her early childhood, she skillful played the organ, flute, & violin and has ministered in psalms within the churches. She was reared as Baptist and Missionary Baptist as a young child where she served on the usher board and choir as a youth.
She has evangelized the world in churches, hospitals, prisons, music ministry,
prayer lines, street ministry, etc.
She received her calling from the Holy Ghost in 2007, to preach the gospel
to the masses. She was infilled with the Holy Ghost in 2009 at Breakthrough
Church of God in Christ. Bishop-Elect Harkness is anointed with many colors in
her spiritual cloak. God has gifted her with the prophetic anointing, casting out
demons, healing hands, intercession, discernment, wisdom, psalm, and
administration.
Bishop-Elect Harkness is an ordained pastor, licensed evangelist, appointed overseer of the church. She is the founder and Sr. Pastor of Anointed Beacon Light Ministries (est. 2000) and is currently serving as 3rd Presider (Bishop Elect) of New Promise Fellowship of Churches who is committed to strategically leading God’s people by the guiding of the Holy Spirit with love, compassion, and integrity.
